Role Overview
Responsibilities:
QMS refinement, management, training and implementation of processes at
organization level.
Defining and implementing Metrics framework.
Monthly health assessment of all projects and presenting it with Senior Management
for actions for improvements.
Facilitate to the project manager to align the projects to the QMS
Facilitate to PM on kick off PPT/Phase End Review/CAR
Metrics data collection, collation, validation, statistical analysis and monthly
engineering dashboard.
Monthly Quality dashboard meeting with engineering group heads.
Undertaking various improvement projects to streamline processes within Functions
by using Lean Sigma/Six Sigma/Kaizen methodology.
To conduct MRM (management review meeting) and tracking till closure.
Monthly review the project and release the Project health indicators (PHI).
Planning and conducting yearly Internal Audits. Liaising with Certification bodies for
ISO certifications.
Complete ownership of internal audit, ISO recertification and surveillance audit.
Contribution to Internal Quality Trainings Organization-wide.
Conducting gap analysis for practices followed and requirements wrt ISO 9001/ISO
27001 standards
Final Inspection Audit and Configuration audit.
Process definition and alignment with Model and business requirement as SEPG
Lead.
QMS up gradation as per the requirement of CMMI current version and QMS release.
PPM/QPMS implementation in projects.
CMMI L5 deployment coordinator, FAR for PPQA process area.
Implementing and monitoring quality parameters to achieve quality targets at multiple
levels
Maintaining process quality risk management to ensure that all the risks are
identified, tracked and controlled while working with delivery heads.
Implementing and maintaining a system for advance warning indicators for programs
which might become red and ensure actions being taken and followed through while
working with delivery heads
Implementing and ensuring various audits – delivery audits, process audits and
tracking and reporting the compliance on regular basis .
Building and implementing a communication plan to highlight the significance of role
of quality in business growth and profitability through various metrics .
Implement QA processes at various stages of the SDLC to ensure that quality
standards are met from planning through deployment.
Proactively identify project risks related to quality, timelines, and scope .
Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.
Facilitate communication between development, QA, and project management teams
to ensure alignment on quality goals and risk management strategies.
Skilled in consultancy-auditing & process improvement and process re-engineering &
modelling in project development environment.
Prudent, disciplined & self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication &
organizational skills with proven abilities in team management and customer
relationship management.
Preferably certified Internal / Lead auditor for ISO 9001.
Certification Six Sigma quality control would be an added advantage.
Should have use analytical tools like Minitab , Visio , etc.
