QA Head

Role: HEAD OF QUALITY ASSURANCE

Job Summary:

Overview:

The Head of Quality Assurance is responsible for leading the Manufacturing & Production Operations team to deliver top-of-the-line product developments and production, in line with the Sanmaan/Re-Wrap vision to recycle, reuse, and reinvent. This role involves developing and implementing quality control standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring all products meet required quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Responsible for key relationships with Manufacturing Operations, Product Development, Commercial Awareness, Business Orientation & Management.

•

Attention to detail->taking initiative, time management, analyzing.

•

Liaising with designers & adapting design to suit production methods.

•

Should be able to document and prepare quality SOP’s

•

Provide strong leadership, management and support to the Merchandising team, comprising of Merchandisers, Assistants and management of all product information.

•

Work closely with Heads of Buying in India & UK to create the Product production plans in line with re-wraps vision and strategic objectives.

•

Proactively manage excesses & shortages pre and in season to maximize commercial opportunities and minimize risks; including intake planning, allocations & Production

•

Partnering with the heads of buying and the wider senior management team to achieve strategic objectives.

•

Collaborate with the all supply chain functions to drive performance, share best practice and drive efficiency across teams.

•

Lead and inspire the Manufacturing function to deliver outstanding insight to the business.

•

Develop & Maintain Vendor / Suppliers relationship

•

Adapt existing printing methods, develop new methods for development & production

•

Visiting sites and other sources to ensure on time delivery

•

liaise closely with Merchandising, Sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market and price points

•

Assessing and approving completed items and production standards

Educational Qualification and Experience:

•

Postgraduate / Graduate / relevant certification in garment Technology

•

18+ years of experience in quality assurance in the garment industry.

•

20+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Product Development.

•

Proficiency in Printing technology, methods, types and areas.

•

Craft Based Interventions.

•

Ability to meet deadlines.

•

Outstanding communication skills both written and Verbal

•

Team Player.
