Role: Fabric & Trim Sourcing + Product Development Coordination
We are looking for a China-based sourcing and product development professional to act as the key liaison between our Design team in India, Product Development team in Bangladesh, and our fabric/trim supplier network in China
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate between designers in India, PD teams in Bangladesh, and Chinese mills/suppliers.
* Source fabrics, trims, developments and alternatives based on design briefs, target prices and customer requirements.
* Manage sampling, quotations, MOQs, lead times and supplier follow-ups.
* Identify new mills, suppliers, fabric qualities and seasonal innovations.
* Create customized seasonal fabric books / collections for multiple customers, aligned to each customer's aesthetic, price point and product strategy.
* Organize swatches, technical information, pricing and development status in a clear, commercially usable format.
* Proactively recommend fabrics and trims rather than only responding to sourcing requests.
* Support troubleshooting and ensure fast communication between China, India and Bangladesh.
Ideal Candidate
* Based in China with strong knowledge of the textile/fabric and trim supply base.
* 4+ years' experience in fabric sourcing, textile development, merchandising or product development.
* Strong understanding of woven/knit fabrics, finishes, trims, MOQs, costing and lead times.
* Good supplier network and ability to independently visit mills/markets.
* Strong English and Mandarin communication skills.
* Organized, commercially minded and comfortable working across multiple customers and development calendars.
