Role Overview
Key Responsibilities: HR Business Partnering & Operations
• Act as the Lead HR Business Partner for Stores, Commissary, and Dark Store operations
• Drive end-to-end HR lifecycle – manpower planning, hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and exits
• Partner closely with Operations, Business Heads, and Leadership to align people strategy with business goals Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition
• Own manpower planning for all operational locations in the region
• Lead high-volume hiring for store staff, commissary teams, and dark store employees
• Ensure timely closures, quality hiring, and adherence to budgets and productivity benchmarks Team Leadership • Manage and mentor Store HR teams across locations
• Build strong HR capability on-ground through training, grooming, and regular reviews
• Ensure consistency in HR processes and employee experience across locations Compliance & Statutory Management
• Ensure 100% compliance with: o POSH o Labour Laws o Shops & Establishment o CLRA, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, etc.
• Handle audits, inspections, documentation, and statutory reporting end-to-end Payroll & Benefits
• Oversee payroll processing for regional operations
• Manage employee benefits including Mediclaim, insurance policies, and vendor coordination
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and resolution of payroll-related queries Employee Relations & Engagement
• Be a people-first leader, proactively addressing employee queries, grievances, and concerns
• Handle employee relations issues with empathy and business sensitivity
• Drive engagement initiatives suited for frontline and operational teams Stakeholder Management
• Manage multiple stakeholders across locations – operations leaders, vendors, consultants, and corporate teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people matters
What We’re Looking For
• 6+ years of HR experience, preferably in Retail / Hospitality / QSR / Multi-location operations • Strong understanding of frontline workforce nuances
• Hands-on experience with: o Compliance & labour laws o Payroll & benefits management o High-volume hiring
• Proven people leadership and team management experience
• Process-oriented with strong execution mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Based in Delhi and open to regional travel What Sets You Apart
