JOB DESIGNATION:
QUALITY & PRODUCTION ENGINEER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONAL -
Perform pre-audits, CGFS assessment to ensure new factory quality standard as well as
maintain follow up for social and technical audit validity and CAP implementation.
Ensure proper development and implementation of 5 gates quality control steps in the factory
engaged in Carrefour order execution.
Plan & drive quality control measures (testing, inline, final inspection, self inspection) with the
support of related stakeholders (internal team, factory, 3 rd party ) to ensure timely QA validation
of the ordered merchandise
Measure & track relevant quality KPI (AQL performance, testing performance, claim) for the
factory & engage them for further improvement
Development of factory internal quality control team (CCQC) with proper training and earn
empowerment through Self Inspection propagation
Conformity assessment steps ensuring that production activities are aligned with desired
product & following quality control guidelines (risk assessment, PP meeting, trim card, bulk
shade review, bulk production picking, in house tests etc)
Capacity assessment ahead of season and generate on possible alert through CAPLAN
Production/order execution follow up with factory implementing critical path flags to generate
alert ahead of the problem and allow timely solution
Check monthly/weekly production status and FRI planning in order to ensure effective order
execution
Develop and maintain a clear and precise communication within GS internal teams to ensure
correct quality and on-time deliveries.
Monitor the service level of inspection companies and train inspectors and suppliers on SOP
updates/new guidelines.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT -
Provide guidance, advice, and support to internal (less experienced peers) and external (vendors, 3 rd
party company offering services etc) to help them develop and be more efficient.
Contribute and be actor in company projects to develop efficiency and support changes of the
organization
Including but not limited to the previous responsibilities, the company can also require the Quality &
Production Engineer, to carry out other duties (tasks, projects, temporary missions, etc.) that may
be assigned by the Leadership on specific matters
EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience (Quality - Production process) in the garment
industry.
2. Apparel industrial production - quality processes knowledge - Knit / Woven
3. Strong commercial sense and knowledge of consumer/fashion trends
4. Control & manage the production and quality management team in the factory and report
summarized update to cross functional teams (i.e. merchandisers, quality, operations and
compliance)

3. Excellent people and project management skills
4. Able to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment
5. Proficiency in Excel, including vlookup and pivot table functions
6. Strong ethical sense and self-discipline.
7. Independent, self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, team-oriented, and
flexible
8. Proficiency in written and spoken English
9. Familiar with European safety regulations and work experience with a European
brand/retailer is a plus
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
1. Bachelor or above degree in Textile/Fashion/Clothing/Industrial Production Planning
2. Training on Lean Six Sigma & ISO certification as an added plus point

development progress
