Role Overview
Safety Officer (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Fire & Safety regulations, and buyer compliance standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, accident investigations, and fire drills.
- Implement EHS policies, emergency preparedness, and PPE management.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programmes.
- Handle buyer audits such as SEDEX, SA-8000, Disney, WRAP, Primark.
- Maintain statutory safety documentation and submit periodic reports.
Preferred Profile:
- Degree in Industrial Safety .
- 5 years of experience in an export garment manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and international buyer requirements.
