Senior Designer – Kidswear Knits
HiredNext Recruitment is managing a confidential search for a Senior Designer – Kidswear Knits for a high-volume Kolkata-based apparel organisation working across infants, kids and teens for leading domestic retail clients.
Role mandate
- Create trend-led, commercially relevant ranges for infants, kids and teens.
- Own seasonal concepts, colour stories, print and graphic direction, fabric selection and styling.
- Translate market and retail trends into age-appropriate, production-ready knitwear collections.
- Work closely with merchandising, product development, sampling and production teams.
- Create design packs and support range presentation and execution.
Ideal profile
- 5–8 years of commercial fashion design experience.
- Strong kidswear and knitwear sensibility.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, prints and graphics.
- Domestic high-street or retail kidswear experience preferred.
